Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Xochitl Martinez earned her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the Monterrey College of Music and Dance. After graduation, she joined the Nuevo León University Symphonic Orchestra and established a successful career performing at private events while managing her own violin teaching studio. Since relocating to California, she has performed with numerous prestigious ensembles and symphony orchestras in addition to playing at private events and recording sessions. She is a registered Suzuki Method teacher, passionately following its philosophy. Central to her teaching is creating a nurturing, supportive environment where students can thrive. Through listening, repetition, and gradual progress, her students not only develop technical proficiency but also a deep love for music. Xochitl instills confidence, discipline, and creativity in her students which then become lifelong skills.
