Sofia Sierra is a composer, singer-songwriter, and pianist born and raised in the beach cities of Los Angeles. After being mostly self taught, Sofia became highly educated in theory and composition at the Los Angeles Film School alongside graduating from Point Blank Music School with a diploma in audio production and vocal performance. While attending school Sofia started teaching private piano lessons to children of all ages and skill levels, that is how her love for teaching blossomed! With over three years of teaching experience, she has grown a fond love for teaching early childhood music enrichment. Sofia believes that how a child begins their music journey is so fundamental to the relationship they have with music for the rest of their lives. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and safe place for every child to discover their love for music!
