We’re excited for our first Piano for Parents class instructed by Philip Rankin! This 5 session course will give parents some strategies and basic musical knowledge to support their student’s instrumental studies at home. Piano for parents is an entry-level class for any parent who has kids enrolled in music lessons. Parents will learn basic terminology, symbols, and notation to assist their students with practicing. Basic songs will be learned to give parents a working knowledge of the music learning process. Practice strategies and tips will be covered as well as how to structure and guide practice sessions. This hands-on music class will be a fun and useful way to engage more deeply in your student’s musical activities and achievements.
