Liya is a Bulgarian-born, Los Angeles-based artist, songwriter and performer with a bachelor of Professional Music from Berklee College of Music and over 5 years of teaching experience.
Liya has been performing on stage, as well as playing piano from a young age. She grew up nurtured by music, where over half of her family are musicians, which led her to follow her lifelong dreams of becoming a recording and performing artist.
As an educator, Liya has experience with students as young as 3 years old to 75+. She creates a tailored approach for each student in order to help them tackle the struggles they face. Her goal is to help her students develop their voice, expand their range, gain confidence, build song repertoire and overall learn how to sing effortlessly. Liya also helps her students develop performance and stage skills and has helped many students prepare for auditions, competitions and applications for music schools, choirs, etc.
