Howard Chen is an accomplished classical pianist whose journey began at the age of five at the Yamaha Music Studio under the tutelage of Esther Ko. Since then, his dedication to mastering the piano has been unwavering. Throughout middle and high school, Howard actively participated in orchestras, playing both the violin and piano. He currently studies privately with Dr. Andrew Park and has graduated from the University of California, Irvine, where he studied under the internationally renowned pianist Dr. Lorna Griffitt. Howard is passionate about sharing his love for music through teaching students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. His goal is to nurture and develop his students into mature musicians, balancing flexibility and understanding with the necessary discipline. In addition to teaching, Howard enjoys exploring various music genres, watching movies, and playing tennis.
