Course Description: When you make or hear a sound today, whether listening to music on your smartphone, or playing an instrument, chances are it involves a computer. Computers have become the ultimate means of communication. Once you learn the language of computers, the only limit for sound creation is your imagination.
Whether you want to write a song to pitch to music publishers, TV shows and commercials, or record them yourself as an artist, here’s a songwriting method that will help you get your message across and make sure your listeners stay involved from beginning to end. Of course, this is just one approach to songwriting but it’s used by many songwriting pros and it works. Once you have your song uploaded to your YouTube channel try the next link to buy youtube likes and promote yourself faster.
Over six classes students will listen to, play with, learn about, and program the basics of music and sound creation on a computer. They will come away with a new understanding about music composing and performing, general computer programming, and sound itself. The software they’ll use is free and allows them to talk directly to the computer using an intuitive, graphic based translator. The skills learned will provide a sonic foundation for future work in all types of computer programming including app making and web design.
Class meets in the studio on Saturdays at 11 am: 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/11, 10/25.
